Before I tell you about Scrivener training with Joseph Michael.

I bet you’re wondering why I’ve not posted for nigh on a fortnight.

Anne, why have you not posted for nearly a fortnight?

Great excuse! I joined the Self-Publishing School and I’ve been too busy to blog.

I’ve known about Chandler Bolt and his Self-Publishing School since last Summer. I attended one of his expert-packed summits and enjoyed a crash course in content marketing. What an education that was!

I wanted to write a book on editing – all about my Red Pen – but the timing was never right for me, until now. Following the recent SPS summit, with yet more experts sharing their insights into writing, publishing and marketing, I took the plunge and, boy, I’m glad I did.

The first week was a whirlwind, finding my way around, and getting used to how SPS have  set things up for their students.  They are so organised. There’s so much information. So much support. I am impressed.

The second week was also full on, pairing up with my accountability buddy, and setting the alarm for 2am on Thursday so that I could attend the weekly online hangout.

And, for the past fortnight, I’ve been writing … writing a book … that book on editing, the Red Pen way.

Week 3 starts tomorrow and I’m halfway to completing my first draft. As soon as I decide my launch date, I’ll let you know. Watch this space!

But today, having completed all my week 2 goals, I’ve been catching up on emails. Hundreds of them …

A welcome email

One email that arrived this morning was from Joseph Michael, the Scrivener Coach.  A welcome email!Scrivener training with Joseph Michael | ScrivenerVirginWhen I first downloaded Scrivener to my Mac, early last year, I was impatient to learn how to make the best use of it. I invested in Joe’s Learn Scrivener Fast course and can thoroughly recommend it. Joe is a brilliant presenter and knows Scrivener inside out.

Video training with Joseph Michael

A year later, I’m still on Joe’s mailing list and, although I didn’t make it to his recent webinar, he sent me a link to the recording. I just watched the video … a timely refresher for me.

If you are new to Scrivener, Joe’s training is second to none. Click this link, and get on Joe’s mailing list, NOW!

Back to my writing …
