NANO 2018

If you haven’t done so already, it’s time to start thinking about NANO 2018!

I’m ML (Municipal Liaison) for Cornwall, UK.

Anne Rainbow, ML for Cornwall UK

If you live in Cornwall, make sure you sign up for the Cornwall region on the NaNo site.

Tracey lives in Truro and you’ll maybe see more of her than me as she’s organising write-ins as well as the KO, Midway, and TGIO.

If you live in Devon, sign up for the Devon region.

You can also join in with the Come-Write-In sessions I have set up.

  • Mondays 10am-12 noon at Kingsbridge Library
  • Mondays 2-4pm in the Lounge of the Cottage Hotel, Hope Cove

These started on Monday 15 October and continue through November until 3 December.

Bring your laptop and/or notepad and write. I’ll be on hand to answer questions and to encourage you in your planning and writing.

And then we’ll celebrate on 3 December.

Wherever you live, if you want to join me for the ride, click here to join my NaNo2018 FaceBook group. I’ll keep you posted with news of what’s happening in the run up to NaNo and hold your hand in November (and beyond).

Just like last year, I’ll be hosting a series of webinars, especially for those of you who cannot get along to the live events with your local ML.

Here’s my schedule of webinars.

  • 8 Simply Scrivener Specials with a NaNo twist: Tuesdays at 7.30pm (UK time) on 16, 23 and 30 October, 6, 13, 20, and 27 November, and 4 December
  • KICK-OFF on Wednesday 24 October 2018: 7pm BST.
  • MIDWAY on Wednesday 14 November 2018: 7pm GMT
  • TGIO celebrations on Wednesday 5 December 2018: 7pm GMT

Click on each date link, and then choose your time, to register your place. Places are limited so please book early.

Each webinar lasts about an hour. There is time for a brief presentation on what NANO is all about, a walk-through of the NANO site, and an opportunity for all questions to be answered.

In addition, I will be posting a series of blogs in the run up period, helping you to master Scrivener ahead of the 1 November start date. Here are the links to those blog posts:

and there will be more each week ,,,

Any questions? Post them in the NaNo2018 Facebook group.
