A semi-colon [;] separates two equals
Sentences that could have stood alone but work better side by side
- Narrows the gap
- A full stop will work instead! And you might want to turn the first half into a question or an exclamation
- A conjunction (and, but, for, nor, or, so, yet) might serve as well?
- Transitional expressions: accordingly, consequently, for example, for instance, however, nevertheless, so, that is, therefore, thus
