Time for the Kick-Off (NaNo2018) | ScrivenerVirgin

Time for the Kick-OFF!

This week is a Kick-Off week for NaNoWriMo.

When you sign up to the NaNoWriMo site and choose your region, you’ll find you have an ML – and that person is responsible for organizing meetings before, during and after NaNo.

I’m ML for Europe :: England :: Cornwall. Tracey is our co-ML and she lives in Truro so you’ll see more of her than me, maybe.

What is the KICK-OFF?

KICK-OFFThe KO (short for Kick-Off) is the official start of NaNo preparation in the run-up to the month of November when Wrimos will be writing, writing, writing …

We have less than a fortnight before the ‘off’. Now is the time for all questions to be answered. So, your ML(s) will have set a time and place for your KO and will be there to answer your questions.

Where and when is the Kick-Off?

Check your own region for details of where/when your ML has decided to hold his/her KO.

For Cornwall, our face-to-face KO meeting is at 2 pm on Saturday 27 October at Sonder, Truro, Cornwall TR1 2ES.

In addition – and everyone is welcome, even if you are not in Cornwall region – we are meeting online.

Online Kick-Off meeting

The online webinar NaNoWriMo2018 Kick-Off meeting is at 7pm on Wednesday 24 October.
