    Thank you so much for the in depth post! I have been using a split window but annoyingly I have to right click and select “Open in Second Editor” to view the document when one side is the corkboard. I’m delighted that there is a solution for this where I can just click it and it will open automatically in the second editor.

    I also own Anne Rainbow’s Editing the Red Pen Way! I saved me a lot of time and energy editing my first book and I always recommend it!

    The corkboard background is still there. You just have to choose “corkboard pattern” from the options menu.
    File>Options>Appearance>Corkboard
